Friends of "Rockin' Johnny" present A Benefit for Greg Veale
This Friday night, July 30th, The Rattlers will be headlining a benefit show at the 40 Watt Club for Athens musician and friend Greg Veale. Greg has suffered some health issues recently, and The Rattlers, along with longtime Athens bands Strawberry Flats and The Normaltown Flyers, will be performing. Doors open at 8:00, and the music starts at 9:00. R.E.M. and Widespread Panic have donated some items for auction/raffle, including an autographed guitar, posters, etc... Join us for a night of great local music, and help Greg get through this tough time. *** SPECIAL MUSICAL GUESTS SHOULD BE EXPECTED!!!! (wink wink)***
